Hello, Texas

Most of my time here in D.C. is up. For real? It’s been tight, D.C. and I will miss you, but I will not miss overpriced-food, super-expensive-public-transportation (meaning not super-cheap quiteno transportation), and two-mile-round-trip-walk-to-the-grocery-store. Two springs have gone by since I have seen one in Texas. I miss bluebonnets & crazy thunderstorms. But hey, screw it — I’ll be back in time for tornado season!

I’ve started my rounds for medical tests for the Peace Corps. Holy moly, I can’t wait for them to be over with & hope I am deemed “healthy” by the U.S. government very soon.

And I leave you with a picture taking by my roommate by GWU on our way to the Potomac.
